Witcher 3 was definitely enjoyable.
Bought it three times, in fact: once for PS4, once as a gift for a PS4-owning friend, and then on PC because it was on sale and I figured it would probably look amazing on a quality PC. (I was right 'bout that.)
Bought Horizon Zero Dawn a couple of months ago, but then bought Persona 5 shortly after. The early "tutorial" part in HZD threw me off a bit; the controls seemed a bit strange (down on the D-pad to throw? What?) and trying to follow the machine-animal "tracks" in... um... cyber-view or whatever was awkward.
But I will get back to it some day. It was visually impressive enough, and seemed to have good potential. I just got very sidetracked by Persona 5, that's all -- and I don't regret it too much.
Some games can go overboard with the poz. I can deal with female characters in games, no problem -- and some of them do fit into their plots and environments well enough. When the cover art features various different skin tones, however, I stay away.
Poz in games doesn't phase me too much, either; I know I can read kiked-out sections of CNN, MSNBC, and HuffPo which sometimes accompany articles here, without starting to think: "Gee, they're right... maybe being a Nazi is a bad thing after all." That's how it is with games, for me.
I just have a bit of faith that other gamers are able to think for themselves, and refuse to buy games whose developers lean further and further towards all-out poz with each release (hello, ZioWare).
