Well I have associated "national socialist" with a political ideology where the 'national' aspect of it means that it is racially aware and addressing the Jewish question, and the social aspect means that it aims to maintain the welfare of its own people. Examples of that could be policies that enforces fair working conditions, against animal abuse, free education and medicine etc.
I don't find that the "ordinary" nationalism is aware of the raceQ and jewQ in the same sense as the national socialism, on the contrary it is agnostic to race and the Jews as long as some kind of a 'national' state is maintained. You have the same problem with identitarianism as well, I think.
The NSDAP had a number of major points that they adhered to. They are found in the second part of the Mein Kampf. I guess that you could call yourself a 'national socialist' if you fully support these points.
When expressing support for this 'national socialism' I do it foremostly because of its awareness of the RQ and the JQ. When it comes to the 'socialist' aspect of the political ideology, I'm rather agnostic to it as long as it benefits our people, just as is expressed in that Mein Kampf quote.
Regarding this feminism thing, I have seen this too, very weird.
